Who I am to clients: I am the unique solutions provider, often looking beyond the norm to connect brands with 3rd party partners and opportunities that aren’t immediately obvious.

A short story: To support the launch a major women’s health brand, our client was looking for ways to extend the reach of their message in unique and credible ways. Looking outside of healthcare, we identified several unique 3rd party partners that allowed us to reach our target audience and associate our brand messages with their lifestyle and self-identity (e.g., their recreation, occupation, and fitness). By capitalizing on the implied credibility and marketing muscle of these established 3rd parties, and intercepting our target audience where they were already engaged, we broke through the promotional clutter and significantly enhanced the brand launch.

My alter ego: Geoffrey Kent, founder of Abercrombie & Kent (the world’s #1 specialty travel company) and first man to ride a motorcycle from Kenya to Cape Town. I love to travel and I love the outdoors – hunting, fishing, hiking, backpacking, horseback riding, skiing – you name it. If I could do it all over again, I’d love to have started a hands-on, specialty travel company that’s 100% focused on arranging and providing the best possible outdoors and travel experiences in the world (of course, I’d have to scout all the locations and work with all the guides to ensure we offer the best possible customer experience!).
